Mirror Delay is a delay-mirror training app for iOS, created by Kaoru Okamoto, an independent developer based in Japan. This policy explains how the app handles your information. In short, Mirror Delay is built to work without collecting your data.
Mirror Delay does not collect, store, or share your personal data. It has no user accounts or sign-in, no advertising, and no third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. This applies to everyone who uses the app. Because no personal data is collected, there is none for you to access, correct, or delete.
Like all App Store apps, Mirror Delay is covered by Apple's standard App Analytics. If you have turned on "Share With App Developers" in your device's iOS settings, Apple may give the developer aggregate, anonymized statistics about app usage and crashes. This information is collected and anonymized by Apple, is controlled by your device settings, and does not identify you. The developer receives no other information about you.
Mirror Delay uses your device's camera to show a live and time-delayed view of yourself, like a mirror. The camera image is processed only on your device, in memory, to produce the delayed view. The app does not record, save, or upload your camera video. It does not use the microphone and captures no audio.
Mirror Delay Plus can mirror the camera view to a second nearby device. When you use this feature, the video is sent directly between the two paired devices over an encrypted connection — a local network or a direct device-to-device link. It does not pass through any server run by the developer.
Mirror Delay Plus is an optional subscription. Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. The developer does not receive or store your payment information. Apple's handling of that information is covered by Apple's own privacy policy.
